One of the oldest winemakers in the country has filed for bankruptcy in a blow to the homegrown wine industry. Meier's Winery, which produces more than 30 different wines, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Wednesday. It sells bottles for around $8 to $15 at wine specialists and via companies like Uber Eats. Founded in 1890, it is Ohio's oldest and largest winery and even uses Native American grape varieties.
