Hoda Kotb grinning ear-to-ear on walk in NYC after Today host spotted getting cozy with mystery man
HODA Kotb has been spotted out with her eldest daughter shortly after she was seen with a potential new love interest.
The Today anchor was seen picking up her daughter Hope, four, from school on Friday while in a particularly joyful mood.
In new exclusive photos from The U.S. Sun, Hoda, 59, was first seen walking by herself, appearing to be in a good mood as she enjoyed the warmer weather.
Other photos showed her carrying her daughter's jacket and backpack as she picked Hope up from her New York City school.
Hoda is the adoptive mother of two girls, Haley, seven, and Hope, whom she shares with her ex-fianc, Joel Schiffman, 65.
The host kept it casual in a lavender crewneck sweatshirt and cropped leggings, which she paired with athletic sneakers.
Next to her on a scooter, Hope was seen riding around in an all-black outfit while wearing a pink helmet and glasses.
HAVING HOPE
The outing comes nearly one year after Hoda opened up about Hope's terrifying health scare that landed her in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for a few days.
After a brief absence, Hoda returned to her seat on Today and opened up about her difficult week.
"My youngest daughter Hope was in the ICU for a few days and in the hospital for a little more than a week and I'm so grateful she's home," she told viewers.
Last week, Hoda gave an update on her daughter's health when chatting with The U.S. Sun at the Hudson River Park's 8th Annual Playground Committee Luncheon.
"It was a scary time. I'm learning a lot about myself," she said.
"I'm learning my daughters are stronger than I ever imagined; I'm learning my capacity to love her has grown; I learned my older daughter is a better big sister than I could have ever imagined, and I also learned not to put my worry on her," Hoda added.
"Kids are little and they don't need scary-eyed mom looking at them like, 'Are you OK?'
"So I try really hard not to put my worry on her – but Hope is doing well," she concluded.
NEW LOVE INTEREST?
The mother-daughter duo spent quality time together just days after Hoda was spotted with a mystery man while on another stroll around the city.
In photos exclusively obtained by The U.S. Sun, Hoda was seen sporting a light gray puffer coat with a bright orange shirt beneath it.
She added dark-colored, flared jeans and black boots as she walked with her hands in her pockets.
The mystery man had short brown hair and was around the same height as Hoda, opting for a dark blue suit with a white collared shirt underneath.
The appearance came after Hoda admitted she had been planning a third date with a man her co-host, Jenna Bush Hager, 42, introduced to her.
She revealed the date was a "setup" while speaking toPeople.
"A setup, 'cause that means somebody kind of knows you and kind of knows them," Hoda said.
"I like that a little bit better than random person number three."
In January, Hoda told her co-host that she had only been on two dates since her split from Joel two years ago.
"Well I think it's time for us to change that," Jenna responded.
Hoda and Joel broke off their engagement in 2022 after eight years together.
