This Morning announced& Ben Shephard& and& Cat Deeley& are to hitch the ITV daytime show as the new official presenters.
From next month the pair shall be presenting Monday to Thursday, with Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary persevering with with their Friday duties.&
The news was launched with a promo posted on This Morning's social media accounts. Within the brief video, Ben walks down the production corridor and locations a new photograph of Cat on the wall. He then turns to the digital camera as the photograph comes to life – with Cat giving viewers one in every of her signature winks.
Ben, 49, is greatest recognized for presenting the ITV present – Good Morning Britain – and has referred to as his new job at This Morning 'an honour'.&
'This really seems like a really special moment for Cat and I to be a part of the subsequent chapter of This Morning. It's an honour to be trusted with the reigns, be a part of Alison and Dermot and all the staff that work on and off display and do such an ideal job,' he shared.
'For the last ten years, I've been waking up with our ITV daytime audience on GMB and I now look ahead to spending time with Cat, welcoming the viewers residence after the varsity run or from their early morning routines, with a cup of tea and a mixture of the whole lot that makes This Morning so beloved.'
The new opportunity means saying goodbye to GMB after a decade.
