Republicans have hit out after Democrat Tim Walz said he is taking joy in the downfall of Tesla. In a speech, Walz – former Vice Presidential candidate with Kamala Harris and current Minnesota Governor – told an audience he has added the EV-maker's stock ticker to financial apps on his phone. On the year, Tesla's stock has lost nearly 40 percent of its value. The company's stock price holds much of CEO Elon Musk's net worth.
