Harvey Weinstein was permanently banned from the Vanity Fair Oscars party long before his controversies. In Graydon Carter's new memoir When the Going Was Good, which is now out, the outlet's former editor-in-chief wrote that Weinstein, 73, was the only person banned from the party for life after he "regularly showed up with more guests than his invitation indicated and would bully the staff." Carter wrote that when he originally confronted the former producer, he threatened to bar Weinstein forever if he continued to behave rudely toward his employees.
