Medical investigators covering the deaths of Gene Hackman and his wife Betsy are temporarily restrained from releasing images of their bodies, according to new court documents. The March 17 filing temporarily grants the March 11 request from a representative of the late couple's estate, which asked the First Judicial Court in Santa Fe County to block medical examiners and the sheriff's office from sharing photos, videos and police bodycam footage relating to the circumstances of their deaths.
