Global stocks plunged on Monday morning after President Donald Trump announced wide-reaching tariffs on America's largest trading partners. Markets were sent in to turmoil after Trump announced tariffs of 25 percent on Canada and Mexico over the weekend. In a twist on Monday morning Mexico said it has negotiated for the tariffs, initially meant to be implemented on Tuesday, to be delayed for a month. Stocks began to pare their losses following the announcement but remained significantly in the red.
