Coast Guard is shocked after discovery on migrant boat off Florida Keys
The US Coastguard has repatriated more than 130 Haitians found crammed aboard a boat off the Florida Keys. The group of 132 people including children were packed onto a 30-foot vessel sailing between Cuba and Cay Sal Bank. The boat was intercepted by Coast Guard agents 50 miles southeast of Marathon, Florida last week. A Customs and Border Protection Air and Marine Operations aircrew based out of Jacksonville and a Coast Guard Air Station Miami HC-144 aircrew notified Coast Guard District Seven watchstanders about the migrants on Tuesday.
