Kate Middleton is officially in "remission" four months after she announced she had completed chemotherapy. In January 2024, Kensington Palace shared that the royal underwent a "planned abdominal surgery." Two months later, Kate revealed that she was diagnosed with cancer and was undergoing treatment. (The type of cancer was not revealed.) A palace spokesperson mentioned Kate's return to public duties in the same March announcement. "The Princess will return to official duties when she is cleared to do so by her medical team," they said.
