A 36-year-old step-grandmother accused of beating and shaking an 11-month-old baby to death will not even spend a year in jail, after pleading guilty. Shanica Callaghan accepted a generous plea deal in the Queens Supreme Court just days before her trial, six years and at least 55 hearings after her arrest, according to documents seen by DailyMail.com. Her husband Clinton's grandson Jeramiah died on September 6, 2017, with a fractured skull and injuries to his brain, neck and spinal cord.
