It is unclear when House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will return to the U.S. as she recovers from hip replacement surgery after a nasty fall in Luxembourg. Pelosi, 84, had a successful hip replacement after taking a fall down a marble staircase while on a European trip, her spokesperson said over the weekend. She was in Luxembourg with a bipartisan congressional delegation to mark the 80th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge when she fell on Friday.
