One man has been buying up real estate in a small California town at a dizzying pace and as residents begin to catch on, they're unsure of his intentions. Point Arena is tiny coastal city in Mendocino County with a population of just 451 people. The quaint colorful buildings that house shops and apartments overlook a beautiful cove. While the town is no doubt picturesque, with tourists often visiting the lighthouse at the edge of the ocean, it simply doesn't have enough economic activity to keep itself afloat, according to a recent report in the San Francisco Chronicle.
