Democrat Senator John Fetterman announced he is enthusiastically backing one of President-elect Donald Trump's top Cabinet picks. Having split with his partly over the Israel-Hamas war over his devout defense of Israel, the first-term Pennsylvania lawmaker has carved out a unique position standing on the edge of his party's rightward line. So it is fitting that he is one of the first Democratic senator to have met with any of Trump's Cabinet picks as most on the left hold their fire while GOP lawmakers take meeting after meeting.
