Bombshell report finds 'outrageous behavior' by DOJ snooping on lawmakers and staff

A new report from the Justice Department's inspector general found that the agency secretly obtained phone records from two members of Congress and 43 aides during leak investigations during President-elect Donald Trump's first term. CNN reported Tuesday that among those aides targeted was Kash Patel, who often stirs up concerns about the 'deep state' and who Trump has named as the next FBI director. Patel was a staffer on the GOP-led House Intelligence Committee at the time.
