Lakeside dreams were shattered for several Georgia homeowners whose beloved water view is no more after plans to restore the community's stunning lake were kiboshed. After a heated, hours-long homeowners association meeting, the near $10 million plan to repair the lake's broken dam has been rescinded, Pkale Robinson, president of the Lake Dow Estate Home Owner's Association, announced Tuesday. 'It's been rescinded. It will be rescinded ASAP,' Robinson said.
