Italian researchers used a special X-ray technique to look at how the Shroud of Turin's threads have aged, revealing it was manufactured around the time of Christ about 2,000 years ago A controversial linen shroud - regarded by some to be the one Jesus was buried in - has baffled the world for more than 600 years. The Shroud of Turin was previously suspected of being the wrapping placed on Christ's mutilated body after the crucifixion when first presented to the public in the 1350s.
