Kennedy Jr. will 'address the nation' Friday about his path forward in the 2024 race. Kennedy will speak in Phoenix, Arizona - one day after the Democratic National Convention wraps up in Chicago. Also in Phoenix that day - former President Donald Trump, who Kennedy's running mate, Nicole Shanahan, said the independent is thinking about endorsing. Trump has been courting a Kennedy endorsement for weeks and the two spoke by phone in the aftermath of the assassination attempt on the ex-president.
