Julia DeVore and her friends took some glittery jackets and enthusiasm and turned their neighborhood happy hour group into a cheering squad known as the Astro Glitter Babes. At any given Houston Astros baseball game at Minute Maid Park in Texas, you might find about 10 of the friends dressed alike, waving pom-poms and sitting in the stands together. "It's a fun hobby," says ER nurse DeVore, 60. "And a good way to get out there and meet people.
