Lamar Jackson DROPPED by NFL team after injury
The Carolina Panthers have waived cornerback Lamar Jackson with an injury designation. On Monday, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official website reported the 26-year-old's waiving. The decision came after Jackson sustained an injury during Saturday's 15-12 preseason loss to the New York Jets. If Jackson goes unclaimed on waivers, he will revert to the Panthers' injured reserve list and miss all of 2024. However, if two parties reach an injury settlement this year, he would not be sidelined in Charlotte for the earlier part of the season.
