Team USAs Divers Just Won Americas First Medal of the 2024 Summer Olympic Games
It's official: Team USA is on the medal board! Team USA women's synchronized divers Sarah Bacon and Kassidy Cook won silver on Saturday morning in Paris, beginning the medal count on July 27. The women took second in the 3-meter synchronized springboard competition. This is America's first medal of the 2024 Summer Olympics. China nabbed the gold medal, while the U.K. fell behind Team USA for third place. Bacon, 27, made her Olympic debut in Paris, while Cook, 29, previously competed in Rio in 2016.
