A This Morning viewer who asked for a vintage table to be valued was left gobsmacked when an antiques expert instead said something more valuable was hiding in plain site.
On Wednesday's episode of the ITV breakfast programme, Margaret from Cheshire called in to get a valuation from pawnbroker Dan Hatfield.
She at first asked how much her vintage African Queen table from Thomasville furniture's Ernest Hemingway collection might be worth.
Buying the item around 20 years ago, she shared she'd got it from a local dealer.
Looking at the item Dan explained how items created in the early 21st century were now already considered collectible.
'The table itself is worth about 1,500-2,000,' he said, as Margaret exclaimed 'oh really' and said she actually had two of the tables.
He then continued.
'But that's not what I'm interested in. See the picture behind of Jimi Hendrix. Now here is where the money is,' pointing to images in the background of the photo Margaret had sent in.
'These are archive photos taken by Gered Mankowitz and it is on silver gelatine paper and these are very collectible and there were only 10 of these produced.
'If this is the genuine article, and I think it is, that could be worth, are you ready for this Margaret, are you sat down? That could be worth 8,000.'
Jumping in to find out more, host Ben Shephard asked how she'd acquired the photos, to which she explained how she found them in a French shop.
'Without thinking about the value, I just loved them,' she said.
Clearly excited by the revelation, Margaret then told Dan she was looking forward to speaking to him after the show about her items.
Gered Mankovitz photographed Jimi Hendrix twice in 1967, three years before the musician's death, aged 27, in 1970.
However, the photos didn't gain popularity until several years after they were taken.
They were taken in black and white, which was Mankowitz's typical style, but Hendrix's manager insisted on colour photographs for album covers, so the photos weren't revealed to the public until the photographer's first solo exhibition in 1992.
This Morning airs weekdays from 9am on ITV1.
