Daisy May Cooper glowed as she hit the town hand in hand with her new man and showed off her sizable baby bump earlier this week.

Cooper, 37, recently revealed that she's in a new relationship with Bristol-based artist Anthony Huggins, who she met on the dating app Hinge.

The couple have now confirmed rumours that they're expecting their first child together – Cooper's third – by being pictured shopping for baby clothes in Cirencester.

They looked very much in love as they popped in and out of shops, even sharing a cheeky kiss from time to time. The mum-to-be rested a hand on her belly, obviously not trying to hide the growing signs of her pregnancy in a form-fitting black long sleeve shirt.

The photos are almost suspiciously wholesome, with the pair smiling at each other and sharing affection as if they're aware they're being photographed.

Metro reached out to body language expert Judi James for her take on the new photos, and she agreed the PDA-heavy snaps seem a bit too polished to be fully candid.

'Of course nobody looks this openly idyllic out shopping, suggesting Daisy May is totally camera-aware here,' James said.

Of course, there's nothing wrong with Cooper wanting the world to know she has a baby on the way, or as James put it: 'But who can blame her for wanting to share the news that she is blissfully happy with both her baby bump and her man?'

Getting more specific about what Cooper's body language indicates, James continued, 'Her smiles here range from relaxed and cheerful to a nose-wrinkled beam of anticipation, celebration and excitement. The one hand on top of the bump looks like an entirely appropriate proud boast as well as a signal of both protection of and bonding with her baby.'

Cooper has said in the past that her relationship to Huggins is the most secure she's ever been in, going so far as to say that she better understands what love is thanks to her new beau.

'Now I understand a relationship shouldn't be rowing at 3am […] That's not what love is. Love is being able to live together on a day-to-day basis, enjoying each other's company, being completely yourself and having that accepted,' she told The Sun.

She continued, 'He doesn't want to compete with me. He earns 1,500 a month and he's the sweetest, kindest, most chilled-out man.'

Cooper also aired her adoration for Hugginson Katie Price's podcast in December, saying: 'I'm with the same guy I've been with for a year and he's so f*****g good for me, he's so calming and it's made me realise that I can actually be a f*****g good partner, if I have a nice partner in return, if he's not trying to f*****g control me, or compete with me or put me down.'

According to James, you can read that secure connection in Cooper's body language in the pictures.

James speculated about the possibility that the couple were aware of the photographer, saying, 'But Daisy's happiness also extends to her relationship with her man here, too. Kissing and walking or even kissing in the street while facing front are rare when it comes to spontaneous displays but even as a performed ritual the message projected is one of strong affection and joint celebration.'

The This Country creator also has two children – daughter Pip, five, and three-year-old son Jack – with ex-husband Will Weston who she was married to from 2019 to 2021.

In contrast to her blissful prenatal phase with Huggins, Daisy previously revealed that her secondpregnancy with Weston made it clear that the marriage wasn't going to work out. She told the Times: 'Will is amazing, an incredible, incredible dad – but fundamentally, there wasn't real love there, I don't think there ever was really.'

The Bafta-winner went on to share that when she became pregnant amidst the COVID-19 lockdown, she began to feel 'trapped' with Weston.

Fortunately, it seems that Cooper may have finally found lasting love with the father of her third child.
