Dwayne Johnson has admitted he's been in hot water with TV bosses over his language on WWE SmackDown.
The wrestling legend turned Hollywood megastar is back at his best as The Rock on weekly television building to a huge match teaming with his cousin Roman Reigns against Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 40.
On Friday night's episode, Dwayne turned back the clock for wrestling fans with a good old Rock Concert, as he delivering some scathing putdowns for his upcoming opponents.
However, one line that caught the eye was when a woman in the crowd shouted out 'I love you', and the People's Champ was quick to respond in character.
'I love you too,' he quipped. 'You sound like somebody The Rock can love – drunk and horny!'
Now, the former world champion has admitted his 'language' – which has included some choice four letter words, and even dropping F-bombs on social media – has upset some of the higher ups.
There has also been reports that the apparent freedom Dwayne has to curse and swear on air has rubbed some wrestlers the wrong way, with claims many feel that there is a 'double standard'.
Responding to the situation, The Rock shared a clip of SmackDown's segment and quoted the 'drunk and horny' line as he explained himself.
He wrote: 'Networks and standards & practices have issues with my language, but I'd rather be real than not. I talk from the heart, shoot from the hip and try to always have fun.
'Enjoy the Rock concert ~ Final Boss #SmackDown'
Earlier this month, The Rock – who is on his first regular WWE stint in decades – left fans gobsmacked when he revealed a new nickname for a rather intimate part of his body.
At one point during his promo, he joked that everyone wanted a piece of him, including every woman in the arena, while he insisted none of them could handle his '22 inches'.
He quipped: 'Get your mind out of the gutter! I'm not talking about The Rock's Holy Moses!'
Instead, it turns out he was referring to the massive pythons he calls arms, which Cody won't escape at WrestleMania naturally.
That same night, there were apparent technical issues as Fox – which airs SmackDown in the US – censored big chunks of the segment, with the screen blacked out at the audio cut.
It was later revealed the season for the outages, which didn't impact fans in the UK, was due to a sign being held in full view which read 'Die Rocky Die'.
The sign was a reference to Dwayne's earlier, much less popular stint in WWE, while it was also suggested some offensive chants were also cut out of the broadcast where possible.
