Despite saying that Cyberpunk 2077 would not receive any extra content material, its director has stated there's still an opportunity of some small additions.

The disastrous launch of Cyberpunk 2077 is one thing developer CD Projekt tries to not dwell on now, especially after DLC enlargement Phantom Liberty did so nicely – and without any main issues at launch.

Even before that, director Gabe Amatangelo had stated that work on the original recreation was completed, though that didn't seem to include the two.11 patch in January, that added customized paint jobs for a few of the recreation's automobiles.

'It's attainable that there's another little thing that is available in here or there, just because, as you're type of messing round with stuff, typically you uncover one thing that isn't a high danger,' he admitted in a brand new interview. 'Or it's straightforward to combine. Or, you already know, some builders have some bandwidth.'

Although Amatangelo insisted that 'We're executed', when it comes to the sport, he nonetheless left the door open for brand spanking new features and options to be added to the sport, probably as experiments for the sequel or simply small asides.

'They bring about it to me. I'm like, 'All right, properly, I belief you that it isn't going to mess together with your different work… So let's give it a go,' he stated of developers pitching new ideas to him.

Chatting with Game File, Amatangelo discussed how and why CD Projekt had set up a new studio in Boston but gave no trace as to when Cyberpunk 2077's sequel may be seen in public or what kind of launch date they're aiming for.

Regardless of seeming to be on the rocks in the instant aftermath of Cyberpunk 2077's launch, CD Projekt now has a dizzying array of latest video games in improvement, of which the sequel, codenamed Challenge Orion, is just one.

That's being dealt with by the new Boston studio, whereas the unique CD Projekt Pink in Poland handles an unknown new IP codenamed Undertaking Hadar. The identical studio can also be engaged on the primary recreation in a brand new The Witcher trilogy however, again, nothing has been seen or stated about it yet.

The subsequent recreation to be released is usually more likely to be The Witcher 1 remake, which is being dealt with by exterior studio Fool's Concept, who have been liable for the current The Thaumaturge.

But that's not all, as there's also Challenge Sirus, which is a multiplayer recreation set in The Witcher, universe by the Boston studio and The Flame And The Flood developer The Molasses Flood.

None of the video games have a launch date and even yr, so if there are any updates to Cyberpunk 2077, minor as they could be, they is perhaps the one new releases for fairly some time.
