"On April 5 I acquired the first notifications, which have been overdraft notifications," Jagoe informed NBC affiliate WCNC.

"Between March 25 to April 5, there were 23 fraudulent transactions."

The thieves used her info to finish a collection of transactions that totaled the hundreds she lost.

She had solely discovered of the fraud after she acquired an overdraft notification on her account, since her financial institution, Ally, didn't flag the transactions as fraud.

"That was the perfect news I might have gotten," Jagoe stated in reaction.

"This is one of the best, absolute best birthday present I have ever gotten…This is the absolute best resolution. To me, it's the one decision."

Her financial institution issued an apology to their buyer by chatting with WCNC.

"We attempt to make this process as straightforward, and stress-free, as potential, and we're so sorry for Ms. Jagoe's experience and the length of time it took to resolve her grievance," stated Ally.
