Pit bull owner arrested after dog ripped man's mouth off as he tried to save his own pet from being attacked
The owner of a vicious pit bull was arrested after her dog completely ravaged a man's mouth and ripped off his lips during a brutal attack. An unsuspecting 43-year-old man and his wife were walking their dog in the 8400 block of Shooter Cove in San Antonio, Texas, when the gory incident occurred on January 28. Trouble arose when the aggressive pit bull, owned by 39-year-old Veronica Elizabeth Polley, went after the victim's dog, according to the Bexar County Sheriff's Office (BCSO).
