Reddit suffers massive outage with users worldwide struggling to use social site and app
Hundreds of thousands of Reddit users reported issues with the social media site today amid a major service outage. Issues started at around 3.45pm Eastern Time on Wednesday, affecting people across the US, UK and Europe. Users who visited the site's homepage this afternoon were met with a message from Reddit that said, 'Server error. Try again later.' More than 150,000 people have logged problems on the tracking website Downdetector, which will likely be a vast undercount of the total users affected.
