LA home invader, 17, is shot dead after 90-minute stand-off with cops
A 17-year-old home invader has died after a 90-minute stand-off with California police. Brandon Salgado, 17, of San Bernardino, was shot dead by Long Beach Police after pointing a fake gun at his head and threatening to kill himself on April 26. Salgado was in the middle of robbing a family after using a crowbar to break into their house, a grandmother who lives there told 911, according to police.
