Selling Sunset star Christine Quinn's husband arrested for 'assault with deadly weapon' over domestic dispute
Christine Quinn's husband, Christian Dumontet, has been arrested over a domestic dispute in which their two-year-old son was allegedly harmed, it has been claimed.
The Selling Sunset star, 35, tied the knot with the businessman in 2019 with Netflix cameras on hand to capture their lavish big day.
They went on to welcome their first child together, Christian George Dumontet, in 2021, shortly before the real estate icon left the series.
According to reports, police were called to their LA home on Tuesday afternoon amid a domestic dispute, and took the 45-year-old, sometimes known as Christian Richard, into custody.
Multiple US outlets report that authorities said he threw 'a bag with glass bottle at the victim, missed the victim but hit the victim's child, causing injury'.
They added that 'police and paramedics arrived on scene and treated the child', but he was not taken to hospital for further treatment.
In pictures obtained by PageSix, Christian Sr was seen being escorted off the property by two police officers, while still in his dressing gown.
His hands were cuffed behind his back and he didn't appear to have shoes on.
The publication reports that he was allegedly booked was booked on assault with a deadly weapon.
He is allegedly being held on a $30,000 bail and still remains in custody.
A source also told PageSix that the unnamed child, who is thought to be their young son, was later taken to the emergency room, accompanied by his mother.
Christine has yet to speak publicly about the allegations and has not been active on social media following the news breaking.
The Netflix star previously revealed that she met her now-husband through mutual friends and, following a whirlwind engagement, they tied the knot in December, 2019.
'I absolutely fell head over heels in love,' Christian said during a toast at their engagement party which was filmed for the second season of Selling Sunset.
'We hit it off in the car. We were literally in the car and we had an instant banter, which is really special. You don't get that too often.'
Their unique nuptials were attended by many of Christine's former co-stars, including Chrishell Stause and Mary Fitzgerald, with the scenes airing in the subsequent series.
'We're so similar in all the ways that matter,' she later told People Magazine of their relationship.
'We are both creative, driven, entrepreneurial, and have always lived by our own rules.'
