A WALGREENS shopper has expressed their outrage over the retailer's extreme anti-theft policies.

The consumer on X, formerly referred to as a Twitter, shared his expertise making an attempt to buy personal gadgets from his retailer in New York City.

The X consumer stated the anti-theft measures have been notably irritating in NYC places[/caption]

"I feel dangerous for the @DuaneReade @Walgreens staff who need to go and unlock something you need to purchase at their shops and stand with you when you determine if you would like the Previous Spice or with out Anti-Perspirant," he wrote in a post.

"Perhaps those stores should just be automats?"

A Walgreens representative was quick to answer the upset customer's tweet.

"I recognize you taking the time to precise these considerations and supply this suggestion, JJ," stated the representative.

"I'd wish to share your suggestions with management.

"Please message to specify which location you go to most regularly (or had in mind once you posted this). ^MK"

The client did not maintain back.

"Anyplace in NYC, everybody (employees, clients) is depressing and irritated with the lockdown," stated the consumer to the consultant.

"All clients are treated like we plan on sliding some bubble gum up our sleeves."

Walgreens thanked the consumer for their suggestions and stated they would come with their feedback in the case submitted on the consumer's behalf.

The U.S. has beforehand reported on outraged clients upset concerning the over-the-top anti-theft measures major retailers are taking.

A& Walgreens& in& San Francisco& reportedly started locking more and more of their personal items away from clients as shoplifting points have reached new heights.

While clients are outraged, an employee advised The San Francisco Standard that there are at the least "Fifteen, 20 [thefts per day]."

"They'd take all the things," one stated.

The U.S. Sun has reached out to Walgreens for remark.
